          The prognosis for those with red-green colorblindness is very good.  Since the symptoms of the disease are present from birth, many affected individuals have learned to live with the disorder from the start.  While it is possible for colorblind people to be excluded from certain careers in which vision is critical (pilots, military, etc.), with color adaptations, it is possible for them to lead a very normal life.
